SEMESTER ONE STUDY MATERIALS.

 There are six (6) courses in this semester. A student shall be deemed eligible to write the end of semester examination  if s/he obtains 50% of the continuous assessment in each course. continuous assessment shall carry 40% of the total final grade in each course. 6.1.1.3 The final examination in each course shall constitute 60%.  A student who obtains grade D in two (2) courses will be required to write  supplementary examination in the course (s) failed provided continuous  assessment is passed.  A student who obtains D in three (3) courses or fails a supplementary  examination will be required to repeat the semester.   A student may repeat a semester only once.  A student shall be deemed to have passed end of semester examination if s/he  obtains 50% or more in each course which includes continuous assessment  and final examination.A student who passes supplementary examinations shall be awarded a grade  of P for pass. 

Exclusion from the Programme

 The following criteria shall apply for  exclusion from the programme, Failure in four courses or more.  Failure in repeated semester.
